How We Support Our Community
Ettalong Diggers is committed to strengthening the Peninsula and Central Coast by providing funding, resources, and in-kind contributions. Through the ClubGRANTS program, we help local organisations deliver essential services, programs, and opportunities across the community.
Types of Support
- Community welfare and social services
- Community health and development initiatives
- Employment assistance and training programs
- Sporting and recreation groups
- Veterans’ welfare and RSL-related activities
- Tourism promotion and cultural programs
- Visual and performing arts projects
- In-kind support such as venues, catering, or services
Category 1 – Community Support
Category 1 funding supports initiatives that address local priorities such as welfare, social services, health, and employment assistance. Applications are open year-round until funds are exhausted, with additional LGA Committee funding rounds held annually.

- Employment assistance activities
Applications for 2026 LGA Category 1 funding open 1st February 2026 and close 30th April 2026.
Category 2 – Sport, Recreation & Culture
Category 2 funding focuses on supporting clubs, cultural activities, and local initiatives that enrich our community. Applicants are encouraged to provide clear details on how their project will benefit the community and acknowledge Ettalong Diggers’ support.
Examples of Supported Projects
- Veterans’ welfare (RSL-related activities)
- Sporting and recreation groups
- Tourism promotion initiatives
- Not-for-profit cultural programs
- Visual and performing arts
Application Requirements
- Clear project details and community benefit
- Organisation’s Profit & Loss Statement or Annual Report
- Acknowledgement of Ettalong Diggers as a partner
