Supporting Veterans on the Central Coast
At Ettalong Diggers, our RSL sub-Branch provides advocacy, community connection, and respectful remembrance. We are here to support ex-service men and women, honour those who served, and ensure their legacy continues within our community.
What We Do
- Support and advocate for veterns and ex-service personnel
- Provide advice and assistance for life after service
- Coordinate ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services
- Act as custodians of Woy Woy Memorial Park
- Represent the RSL at community and school events
- Support the wellbeing and welfare of members and their communities

Highlights
• Launch of the Poppy Wall inside Ettalong Diggers – a space for reflection and remembrance.
• Hosting the Veteran Outreach Clinic (12 September 2025) in partnership with RSL LifeCare and the Central Coast Veteran & Family Hub, providing direct access to advocacy, claims assistance, and wellbeing services.
• Continued coordination of ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services for the Peninsula community.
• Veterans and their families are welcome to join our sub-Branch members for complimentary coffee and a chat every Tuesday & Thursday 9.00-10.30 at the Ettalong Diggers.
A Legacy of Service Since 1926
The Woy Woy–Ettalong–Hardys Bay RSL Sub-Branch has proudly served veterans, their families, and the Peninsula community since 1926.
Presence at Ettalong Diggers
The Sub-Branch office is proudly located in the foyer of Ettalong Diggers, open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am–12pm.
This visible presence allows veterans and families to easily access support in a welcoming environment.

Ettalong Diggers is honoured to host and support the Sub-Branch within our club, reinforcing our shared commitment to veterans and the wider community.
Together, we ensure that the stories of service and sacrifice are remembered, while also providing practical assistance to those in need today.
Services and Support
The Sub-Branch continues to uphold the RSL’s mission of providing care and assistance to veterans and their families by offering:
- Welfare support and referrals for health, housing, and wellbeing
- Assistance with DVA claims and advocacy for entitlements
- Family support and community connection programs
- Coordination of commemorative services, including ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, and stewardship of local cenotaphs and the Poppy Wall
